120 grams {about 1 scant cup} dark chocolate chips
165 grams {about 1 scant cup} sunflower butter or cashew or almond butter
105 grams {about 1/2 cup firmly packed} brown sugar
1 Tbsp cacao powder
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt, Celtic Sea Salt, preferable
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Fit a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Scoop the batter onto the baking sheet and bake 10 minutes. Cool 2 minutes before removing from the sheet. Makes 20 cookies.
{Measuring by weight directly into a bowl atop a digital scale makes a recipe like this incredibly simple. Be sure to zero out the weight before adding the next ingredient. And, look for more on measuring by weight in upcoming posts.}
