Boil Milk Without Scorching
Here is a simple solution to save milk from the dreaded scorched taste and pans from the difficult to clean scorched bottom. With a paper towel, wipe the bottom of a pan with a thin coat of grapeseed oil. Add a small amount of water, just enough to cover the surface. Then, pour in the milk. This will allow the milk to be brought to a high heat or even a rolling boil without scorching the milk or the pan. Grapeseed oil is a tasteless oil with a high heat threshold. It is ideal for this purpose.
