The SimplyCooking® Pantry is a curated pantry collection, its ingredients are used in the SimplyCooking® recipes. With a set list of ingredients, shopping is largely a matter of restocking leaving time for, simply, cooking. One finds freedom in the kitchen, using ingredients at hand, cooking mindfully, creating and enjoying time spent cooking over searching for ideas or ingredients; over washing gadgets and making lists. The kitchen is ordered. Ingredients have their place and are plentiful, not because they were purchased in bulk. Ingredients are plentiful as much can be done with quite little. Favorite items will be added and others omitted by you; this makes each person’s pantry truly curated for themselves. The SimplyCooking® Pantry is a place to start on a path toward simplicity with ingredients and a corresponding collection of recipes for daily scratch or near scratch cooking. With a pantry thoughtfully stocked with fruits, vegetables, healthful staples, scant seasonings and your favorite fresh herbs, we know there are always many possibilities of something good to eat we can make for ourselves in our very own kitchens.

The SimplyCooking® Pantry includes a considered yet varied collection of fresh ingredients; fruits, vegetables, dairy and meats. Fruits and vegetables can come in a frozen form which is efficient and even optimal for some recipes. If cooking for just yourself or have limited space, rotate what is bought from this list. Adapt it to your own liking and follow seasonal availability and appeal. Use this list as a guide.

The SimplyCooking® Pantry staples are a collection that’s constant. Restock monthly or periodically as needed. On a daily basis, practice using what you have, substitute for what you prefer and replenish as needed on a monthly basis. Seasonings | Seasonally

The SimplyCooking® Pantry seasonings, including seeds, fresh or dried herbs and spices, keep cooking interesting and provide nuanced twists to basic recipes. Each season, stock the kitchen with something special for the season, like a fresh thyme plant.
